July 19, 2002: Back after a long hiatus. walking into the park after a heavy shower, every animal has that just-got-out-of-bed look, feathers mussed on top of their little heads. Relaxed, preening, sounds and smells intensified in the heavy air. Very still and misty and liminal. The blackbirds break the mood by chasing crows around. |
