July 19, 2002: Back after a long hiatus. walking into the park after a heavy shower, every animal has that just-got-out-of-bed look, feathers mussed on top of their little heads. Relaxed, preening, sounds and smells intensified in the heavy air. Very still and misty and liminal. A pair of blackbirds break the mood by noisily chasing a group of crows. |
